D-Rings are used to create an attach point behind picture frames to be suspended and hooked onto a hanger installed onto a wall.

D-Ring picture hangers with two holes generally have a heavier weight capacity due to the additional screw support.

Position a D-Ring on each side of the frame about 1/5th of the distance from the top corner to the bottom of the frame.

The D-Rings should be fastened to the frame at a 45 degree angle, facing the top middle point of the frame.

Attach the picture hanging rope or wire to the D-Rings on the picture frame.

The rope is looped and knotted through the D-Ring.

Make several knots onto the rope then lock the knots by tying masking tape around the knots.
